These delays have also impacted the opening of my non-profit cooperation. The Cooperation N.A.V.R. treatment initiative is being put on hold for the immediate and near future use.
I've decided to dedicate myself to slowly cementing other avenues of concerns to allow for increased creativity, and expansion when the forces are in alignment.
The Tribute to Charley Fox will need to be completed before additional treatment initiative can be facilitated

HST--Your Opinion & Thought.....mmmm
Observation/Article 11, June 15, 2011
Does anyone truly believe all problems can be solved with money? Let me answer that question-- Actually I'd have to say based on a rough estimate that 90% of the population do believe, that all their problems would be automatically fixed if they got suddenly rich....All I say to that theory is good luck trying--
The HST stems from this said belief -- Does anyone understand how much stress it puts on the body when an individual is putting their all into building a life and working diligently only to have half of his or her earnings slashed through a series of different taxes---?
Really true Solutions do not come by sitting and taking the easy way out---
As a nurse let me simply point out a few of the many cascading effects of the implementation of the Super Tax Dog--"The HST'.
Each household now needs to cut, and change previous spending and living habits--Does anyone have any idea how extremely difficult this kind of change is for individuals--? What's the point of getting a raise if your cost of living keeps exceeding your said income--?
We should all know by now what happens to us when we continue to live in a stressful society-- If you didn't know--well this is it--we become bored, depressed, anxious, irritable, lack of sleep (insomnia), self neglect, family neglect, societal neglect----ultimately assisting to create the society we live in today!
Observation/Article 11, June 15, 2011
Do you also know that Stress is the leading cause of chronic and terminal diseases? Is the cost of health care going up? Is job performance getting better or worse, this you can judge for yourself by checking out research on overall sick days. Businesses are suffering because consumers are buying second hand--YEP! Second hand--hand me downs--why not? It's one way to survive, sharing--being better neighbors and family would be an excellent suggestion if implemented well, buying from roadside vendors or garage sales, flea markets are some of the ways of managing shopping. There's also a multitude of ways for managing your household and living within your means--huh--What?--Living within our means--well that's another story with the vast research available on household debts.
Just a word to the wise---NO amount of credit card regulations and wasted legalities is going to help the situation one bit...Why? Easy---we live in a debt riddled society, where we expand our wants to match our friends, neighbors and society. This way of living does not decrease the tension but really elevates it like no other...
Bottom line productivity drops---so why? I keep asking myself--WHY? DOESN'T ANYONE IN AUTHORITY HAVE REAL SOLUTIONS THAT WON'T CRIPPLE AND DISTRESS A NATION?
As an individual working in the community I see things that is absolutely shocking -- Do you ever wonder what's it all for? Why does any of us have, or need to be rich? Personally, I apply myself because challenges brings, or adds excitement to my life. My interest has always been the human brain, and it's limits...or lack there of! Interesting don't you think? Money will never bring me true happiness in any lifetime and this I firmly believe -- people is the true essence of life and this should be treasured, but it saddens me to no end that we've really lost this ability as a society.
Have a great Day to all and anyone that have the luxuary of time...Joy Kissoon

The Chris Doty Award of Excellence
Observation/Article 4, March 16, 2011
I would be extremely surprised and elated to receive such an award, but again much respect for the Artist receiving such an award!
Chris Bourke Doty (September 8, 1966 – February 2, 2006) was a Canadian journalist, historian, award-winning documentary filmmaker, author and playwright, noted for his many contributions to the cultural life of his hometown of London, Ontario.
A graduate of Tecumseh Public School, London South Collegiate Institute and the journalism school at the University of Western Ontario in 1991, Doty grew up on tree-lined Lyndhurst Place in old south London, where he was a paper boy for The London Free Press during his formative years.
[edit] Historical documentary films and plays
His writing included numerous articles in local and area publications such as The London Free Press, the Simcoe Reformer, the Strathroy Age-Dispatch and the UWO Gazette, as well as a book on hangings in London and Ontario. His documentary films have covered such subjects as:
- Old Theatres: The Return, 1991 (while still a student at UWO)
- Marc Emery: Messing Up the System, 1992
- Slippery the Seal and Storybook Gardens in London (Slippery, 1995)
- London's great flood of 1937 (Lost April: The Flood of '37, 1997)
- the history of London (Vagabonds and Visionaries: The London Story, 1998)
- CBC-TV's Guy Lombardo: When We Danced, 1998
- a Guelph, Ontario, promotional video (Guelph: City of Opportunity, 2000)
- the British Royal visit of 1939 (A Great Day for London: The Royal Visit of 1939, 2000)
- the history of the Grand Theatre, (Let's Go to the Grand!, 2001)
- the history of the local TV station (Rewind: Fifty Years of Local Television), 2003)
- the first 40 years of the London Knights hockey team (Green and Gold: 40 Seasons of the London Knights, 2005)
- The Jack Chambers Film Project, 2005
He also wrote the commemorative book, Fifty Years of Music: The Story of EMI Music Canada, 1999, and was active in film restoration, bringing forgotten Canadian films and documentaries back to the public's attention. These have included Here Will I Nest, 1942, The Turkey Point Witch Project, 1962, and Guy Lombardo: A Royal Canadian, 1977.
Doty restored the only known print of Canada's first feature-length colour movie, Here I Will Nest and produced a series of historical minutes/ videos for The New PL TV-station (now the A-Channel, originally CFPL-TV), Rogers Television the City of London, Museum London and the Banting House Museum.
In 2003, Doty was instrumental in convincing the City to name a park in honour of London-born Black actor, Richard B. Harrison (1864–1935), in south-central London, as well as having an interpretive historical plaque erected in Richard B. Harrison Park.
Doty was also involved in local theatre as a playwright and a producer, including a dramatized recreation of The Donnelly Trial -- the 1880 trial of alleged ringleader James Carroll for the mob killing of the notorious Black Donnellys of Biddulph Township north of London near Lucan, Ontario, on February 4, 1880—in the same courtroom in London's historic courthouse (now the Middlesex County building) where the trial occurred 126 years ago. The play had two possible endings that a jury, made up of 12 audience members, could determine depending on their verdict.
During Doors Open London, 2005, Doty played a key role in writing the scripts for the Lost Soul Stroll street theatre in downtown London whose theme was London's past, ghosts and hauntings.
The second play that Doty co-wrote and produced was about political-marijuana activist, Marc Emery, called Citizen Marc, The Adventures of Marc Emery.
In addition, Doty co-founded the Brickenden Awards in 2002 to recognize excellence in theatre in London, which Doty last attended on Monday, January 30, 2006, with The Donnelly Trial winning a Brickenden for the "Ballyhoo Award" (best advance promotion) and also one for best costumes (made by Barbara Hunter).
[edit] Death
The date of Doty's death is believed to be Thursday, February 2, 2006, although he wasn't found until a day later on Friday, February 3, 2006 after apparently hanging himself[citation needed] in the attic of his home on Trevithen Street in south London— twenty-four hours before the final performance of Citizen Marc, which was playing downtown at the London Arts Project on Dundas Street.Shortly before his death, Doty had talked about taking his play about Marc Emery on the road to Vancouver, British Columbia.[citation needed] Plans were also in the works to re-stage The Donnelly Trial, which first ran in the spring-summer of 2005 and was an artistic and box-office success.
Doty's funeral home visitation at Donahue Funeral Home on February 6 and funeral service at Metropolitan United Church in London on February 7, 2006, were both attended by several hundred mourners, including members of London's media, arts-and-heritage communities.
In June 2006, The Donnelly Trial was reprised by producer Grant Doty, Chris' younger brother, at the Old Middlesex County courthouse in memory of Chris Doty.
[edit] Legacy
Late in 2006, the London Arts Council established the Chris Doty Endowment Fund, a yearly cash award to be given to a local artist whose work involves local history.Persondata | |

Observation/Article 3, March 13, 2011
Charley Fox was born February 1920, in Guelph, Ontario. He signed up with the R.C.A.F. in the spring of 1940. He was an instructor at Dunnville, Ontario from October 1941, to May 1943, when he went to an Operational Training Unit at Bagotville, Quebec. While there, on June 1st, he had a narrow escape when a Hurricane collided in mid-air with the Harvard he was flying. Although injured, he was able to bail out safely.
In August 1943, he went overseas and checked out on Spitfires. In January, 1944, he began his tour with 412 Squadron. Charley served continuously on ops until January 1945. His duties included escort, armed recce and dive bombing. On D-Day (June 06, 1944), he flew three times.
On June 18, 1944, the squadron moved to B4 airstrip in Normandy at Beny-Sur-Mer.
He specialized in ground attack and prided himself on accurate marksmanship. His success at this is neatly summed up in the official commendation for a bar to his DFC: “This officer has led his section against a variety of targets, often in the face of intense anti-aircraft fire. He has personally destroyed, or damaged twenty-two locomotives and thirty-four enemy vehicles, bringing his total to 153 vehicles destroyed, or damaged. In addition, he has destroyed at least a further three enemy aircraft and damaged two others. In December 1944, Flight Lieutenant Fox led his squadron on an attack against enemy airfields in the Munster area, and personally destroyed another enemy aircraft, bringing his total to 4. Through his quick and accurate reporting, a further 4 enemy aircraft were destroyed. Since the award of the Distinguished Flying Cross, this officer has continued to display outstanding skill, coolness and determination.”
He ended his tour in January, 1945, at Heesch in Holland, after which he did a six week stint as a test pilot for # 410 Repair & Salvage Unit. Then he became Operations Officer in the Intelligence Section of 126 Wing. He was a member of the flight of four who flew the last operational sortie of the war for 126 Wing. (Landing at eight a.m. on May 5, 1945)
In the peacetime R.C.A.F. he served with 420 Reserve Squadron, flying Harvards, P-51 Mustangs and T-33 jets. He was instrumental in helping the squadron win the McBrine Marksmen Trophy for air to air, and air to ground firing.
In September 1956, he began a career with a large shoe & slipper manufacturing firm. He retired in 1998.
His love of flying has been pursued for many years as a member, and past president of the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association.
Charley Fox passed away in 2008 (accident, read my blog)he acted as ground control for Harvard Formation Flypasts on special occasions for them. He also did colour commentaries at airshows throughout the United States, and Canada.

Charley Fox Information
Observation/Article 1, March 08, 2011 The following information was provided by The London Arts Council. Charley Fox Memorial Public Art Project A veteran, an educator, a passionate Londoner. Veteran Charley Fox dedicated his life to ensuring the memories of fallen veterans would be shared with youths and future generations. Before he died, Charley Fox spearheaded many causes including his "Torchbearers" project to honour Canadian Forces members, past and present. He spoke passionately about the service Canadian military veterans perform and kept veterans' stories alive while encouraging school boards to ensure Remembrance Day ceremonies were held annually. This public art project will be sited in the centre of the roundabout located at the Charley Fox Memorial Overpass (Hale Street and Trafalgar Street CN Overpass). Surviving members of his family have indicated that, although the bridge is named after him, the public art project should recognize all branches of the Canadian military. This is London’s first roundabout; it will help to alleviate heavy traffic stoppages caused by the frequent arrival of passenger and freight trains, as well it provides local pedestrians and motorists with a safe, efficient passageway over a busy railway corridor. Goals of this Public Art Project are to:
The public Art project budget is $100,000.00, which includes all design, fabrication, insurance, travel, installation costs/fees and applicable taxes. *Artists selected for the proposal phase will submit a detailed budget with their final proposal. Charley Fox Memorial Public Art Project
Tweet
Hi my name is, Joy Kissoon I live, and work in the community of London, Ontario, Canada. In 2010, I made my first attempt to reveal a personal side to me by registering with London Art Council (LAC). I created a profile, then needed to wait for approval which took a while then I attempted to upload my paintings and found it almost impossible. Finally, I was able to upload 1 painting after shrinking it. I then proceeded to check the information on the site and found the 1 pic. I uploaded after much ado wasn't in public viewing. Okay! I'll have to find another way to reveal my Art to the public.
I never tried to access the LAC account again, because I found it to be limiting at best. Since this time I've received some updates from LAC most of which I found to be quite useless, until today.
I was sent information to apply for the; Charley Fox Memorial Public Art Project and Chris Doty Award of Excellence, and for the first time I was actually able to open, view & use the application. The opportunity to focus on my Art intrigues me to no end.
I've officially sent off my application to LAC today and now I've decided to also upload some of my paintings to YOUTUBE. If I get this project, I intend to pole Londoners regarding my final proposal for completion of The Charley Fox Memorial project. I've been painting for the last 12--15 years and want to post some of my Paintings for the public viewing.
Another pressing concern of mine as a health care professional in North America, is the level of pain, illness and suffering in our society. If I get this project, I intend to use whatever money is left over after the project completion to start a Non-Profit North American Treatment/Wellness Centre. My Art and my professional background will be a huge asset in creating "A Publicly available Wellness & Treatment Centre."
This Display has been altered: Genuine artist oil paintings with an arcylic.
